We’re proud to announce that three of our BDMs are finalists at the MFAA Excellence Awards 2018. Bluestone is also a state finalist in NSW, SA/NT and QLD.

Bluestone is proud to announce that Denya Dean (NSW), Cameron Finnie (WA) and Nicole Salamaga (SA/NT), have been selected as finalists for the Lender BDM Award at the MFAA Excellence Awards 2018. What’s more, Bluestone has also been selected as a state finalist in the Mutual/Speciality Lender category in NSW, SA/NT and QLD.

This recognition comes at a time when our business is growing in leaps and bounds, with exciting changes on the horizon. It cements Bluestone as a leading name in the non-bank lending space, an honour which is spearheaded by our fantastic BDMs.

This is Denya, Cameron and Nicole’s first year as finalists in the Excellence Awards.

The MFAA Excellence Awards are one of the most rigorous in the Australian mortgage and finance industry and are judged by an independent panel of business professionals and experts.

Our three finalists were nominated by their brokers, peers and business partners for their exceptional customer service and dedication to achieving outcomes for their broker partners by finding solutions for borrowers that don’t fit the criteria of mainstream lending. Royden D’Vaz, Head of Sales, states that “[the nominations] are a recognition and reward for the great work that our BDMs have done for their brokers.”

D’Vaz also observed that this recognition, especially in the Mutual/Speciality Lender category, is a shared effort by “the wider team and the whole business as well. It’s a testament to the support that the team gives to help our BDMs carry out their daily duties supporting their brokers.”

The last year has been full of industry change and increasing challenges for the finance broking market, but Denya, Cameron and Nicole have been delivering better outcomes due to their commitment to their broker partners and their expertise in the lending market.

“The MFAA has acknowledged these three BDMs as state finalists out of more than 650 total national awards submissions which have been judged and rewarded for consistently demonstrating their professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct and innovation,” the MFAA stated.

“To be recognised as a finalist speaks volumes of their exceptional practice and professionalism in the mortgage and finance industry,” the MFAA added.

All finalists, including Denya, Cameron and Nicole have an opportunity to be recognised as their state’s winner. State winners will then have the opportunity to win the prestigious national title at the national awards ceremony, which will be held on 26 July in Melbourne.
