About the role: 

It’s an exciting time to join one of the leading non-bank lenders in Australia as we embark on ambitious growth plans across ANZ! Propel your career to new heights as Senior Full Stack Developer, enhancing and supporting Bluestone’s core banking platform and 3rd party integrations. You’ll play a key part in shaping the future of the team, tools and boost the delivery of our high-performing team!

Working in an Agile environment and with cutting edge technologies, you will:

  • Deliver quality solutions aligned to strategic priorities
  • Produce high quality programming code, scripts, mark-up and data that satisfies requirements
  • Drive innovation and change
  • Build new features and enhancements
  • Provide application support to departments across Australia, New Zealand, and Manilla.
  • Actively participate with design discussions with team members
  • Create automated unit tests to demonstrate correct behaviour of coding changes and functionality
  • Contribute to our knowledge base by creating system documentation and/or confluence pages
  • Analyse existing processes and codebase and provide recommendations for improvements/efficiencies
  • Support the mentoring and growth of other team members

 Your Experience:

You will be an experienced Full Stack Developer (7+ years) with complimentary skills within the lending / mortgages industry. Strong AWS skills are required along with experience in our core tech stack:

  • React, NodeJS, TypeScript
  • REST
  • GraphQL API
  • Lambda / Message Queueing
  • Cypress (E2e automation)
  • AWS (Certifications favourable – Cloud Practitioner or Developer)

Additionally you’ll be:

  • A confident communicator and experienced in working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Driven by a dedication to exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality results
  • Possess advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to work under pressure and autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Curious by nature and have an enthusiastic approach to learning
