About the role:
The Treasury Data Analyst supports the treasury team in managing and analysing financial data related to treasury operations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, cash management is optimised, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This position serves as a critical link between financial data and actionable insights, enabling the organization to adapt proactively to evolving market conditions and regulatory requirements.
A typical day for you looks like:
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Daily loan allocations
- Monitor Daily cash positions & forecast future cash requirements
- Portfolio management including monitoring pool parameters and eligibility criteria
- Identify and assess financial risks
- Develop and maintain treasury models to support operations, including scenario analysis and stress reporting
Skills & experience you’ll bring to the team:
- Proficiency with financial data analysis, interpretation, and manipulation using Excel or PowerBI
- Experience in a financial services environment
- Understanding of various financial products and markets
- Experience with lending data analysis and/or securitisation reporting, including Trust waterfalls and pool-cuts (highly desirable but not essential)
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret numbers to influence business decisions
- Passion for financial markets and enthusiasm to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communicator
