Are SMSF loans investment-only?

SMSF lending is strictly for investment purposes. The property must be used to generate retirement income and cannot be occupied by the borrower or a related party.

Can this investment loan be used for rural property?

Our SMSF loan is available for rural residential properties up to 2 hectares. Other criteria may apply, so we recommend speaking to your broker for advice on your eligibility.

What types of properties can be purchased with a SMSF loan?

We accept a wide range of both commercial and residential property types.

Is a corporate trustee required?

Yes, a corporate SMSF trustee (non-trading) is required by Bluestone. This helps ensure a clear separation between superannuation assets and personal assets, which is an important part of safeguarding the integrity of the fund.
